It did show up in the Game Data Utility. After trying to start a new game, it goes straight to the normal first mission. I tried deleting the game data GTA 4 installed on the HDD and then booted the game without installing the patch. Then, after the game data copies, I installed the patch (I found this suggestion online).

I don't have bo2 rn but a tip to get around the crash, all you have to do is turn on your ps3 and sign out before opening bo2 then open the app and run a local multiplayer match for 5 mins then go back into online lobbies and sign in from there.
