Although I'm a Nikon shooter for a few years now, 5D mkII is my all-time favorite camera. I started on Canon 40D and then I briefly used a 5D mkII and it was always a pleasure to shoot with it. Even with a cheap plastic 50mm lens (also known as plastic fantastic), it could produce wonderful images.
